The prices of 48 companies that came into trading increased, the prices of 211 companies decreased, and the prices of 4 companies remained stable. Except for production and processing, all subgroups decreased. The production and processing subgroup increased by 24.76 points. Life insurance decreased by 127.68, non-life insurance by 52.65, and development banks by 51.46 points.
A total of 37.9 million 211 shares were bought and sold in 12759 share transactions. Shares worth 11.97 billion 46 million rupees were traded in those transactions. The trading amount decreased compared to Sunday. Shares worth Rs 14.32 billion were traded on Sunday.
The circuit broke after the share prices of Salpa Bikas Bank, Reliance Spinning Mills, Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company, and Solu Hydropower Limited rose by 10 percent. Hotel Forest Inn's share price rose by 9.93 percent. Siddharth Equity Fund's share price fell by 4.39 percent.
