The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which measures share trading, closed down by 21.21 points on Tuesday. The NEPSE, which had fallen by 8.16 points to 2,662.91 points on Monday, fell by 20.75 points on Tuesday.

The overall NEPSE closed at 2,642.15 points, down 0.77 percent from the previous day.

Of the 42 companies that traded on the day, the share price increased, while the price of 214 companies decreased. The remaining 6 companies remained stable.

On Tuesday, 25,59,055 shares were traded in a total of 83,755 times.

Shares worth 8.36 billion 4.4 billion rupees were traded in those transactions. This is an increase compared to the previous trading day. On Monday, the stock market traded 7.94 billion 2.7 billion rupees.

Among the 13 subgroups that traded on the day, the index of collective investment funds and trade increased by a modest number. Although the indices of all the other subgroups decreased, the NEPSE fell by a significant number.
