Based on the new purchase price received from Indian Oil Corporation on Sunday, the board of directors of the corporation has decided to increase the prices of petrol by Rs 1 and diesel/kerosene by Rs 3. The new prices will be effective from 12 midnight on Sunday, the corporation said in a statement.
