The NEPSE index fell by 26.05 points on Monday.

The overall NEPSE closed at 2,672.39 points after falling by about 1 percent compared to the previous day. The NEPSE, which had fallen by 10.24 points the previous day, fell by 26.05 points on Monday.

Of the 13 sub-groups that were traded, the share prices of 42 companies increased, while the prices of 112 companies decreased. The remaining 6 companies remained stable.

A total of 26.766 million shares were traded on Monday in 12,81 share transactions. Shares worth Rs 10.77 billion were traded in those transactions.

The trading amount decreased compared to the previous day. On Sunday, the stock market saw a turnover of Rs 11.65 billion. 97 million.
