The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which measures share trading, rose by 27.19 points on the last trading day of the week. The NEPSE rose 1.01 percent on Thursday compared to Wednesday to reach 2,708.70 points.

After the last four trading days, the NEPSE has reached 2700 points again. The NEPSE, which was at 2714 on 15th Magh, had fallen by 19.85 points to 2694.20 points on 18th Magh.

The share prices of 201 companies that came into trading increased, the prices of 55 companies decreased, and the prices of 4 companies remained stable. The increase in the share prices of most of the companies that came into trading contributed to the overall NEPSE growth.

A total of 1 lakh 8 thousand 817 times, 35 million 574 thousand 627 shares were bought and sold. Shares worth 11 billion 58 million 28 million rupees were traded through the purchase and sale. The trading amount has also increased along with the NEPSE. Shares worth 7 billion 49 million 97 million rupees were traded on Wednesday.

According to NEPSE, all subgroups except trade have increased. The business subgroup has decreased by 18.51 points. Non-life insurance has increased the most by 218.92 points and life insurance by 143.85 points.
