The price of gold and silver has increased again in the local market today. The prices of both metals have increased compared to Tuesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of one tola of stamped gold today has been fixed at Rs 304,700.
The price of gold on Wednesday increased by 14,400 rupees compared to Tuesday. On Tuesday, the price of gold was 290,300 rupees per tola.
The price of gold, which had a historic increase in a single day on Magh 16, had started to decline a few days ago. On Magh 16, the price of gold increased by 20,400 rupees in a single day to reach 339,300 rupees per tola, which is the highest ever in the Nepali market.
The price of silver also increased slightly on Wednesday. The price of silver, which was 5,335 rupees per tola on Tuesday, reached 5,600 rupees on Wednesday.
According to international media, an ounce of gold is being traded at 5,058 and silver at 88 US dollars in the international market today.
