Deurali Janata Pharmaceuticals is set to establish a manufacturing center in Chitwan with an investment of Rs 4.45 billion.

The people of Deurali are going to set up a production unit in Sharanpur, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-16.

On the occasion of its 35th anniversary, the company's executive director, Haribhakta Sharma, announced that the construction will be completed within the next two years and the medicine will be produced through a world-class project.

Sharma said that the goal is to export the medicines produced in the project and make a significant contribution to the national economy.

The company has claimed that 550 people will be employed in the proposed new factory. The company is producing 296 types of medicines.

The company's director, Suraj Bhakta Poudel, informed that the industry, which has provided employment to 675 people, is producing capsules, tablets, liquid medicines, laxatives and powdered medicines.
