There has been a discussion among experts regarding the use of AI in the Nepali capital market.

The first national conference on ‘Capital Market in AI Era’, jointly organized by the Faculty of Management and Law, Nepal Open University and S Institute of Management, discussed the use of AI in the capital market.

More than 40 researchers, policymakers, investors and experts participated in the conference.

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Chairman Hemant Basyal gave information about the use of AI in the capital market, regulatory role, policy situation and market situation.

Research papers on capital market, AI technology and investment behavior were presented in three technical sessions at the conference.

The conference discussed the emerging use of AI in the Nepali securities market, legal obstacles to AI-based investment decisions, policy discussions, the need for new policies, etc.

Similarly, the conference also discussed the importance of fundamental and technical analysis in the context of the Nepali capital market.
