The NEPSE index, a measure of share trading, fell by 42.48 points, or 1.53 percent, to 2,726.51 points.

A total of 34 companies increased in value, 224 companies decreased in value, and 2 companies remained unchanged.
Among the 13 subgroups that were traded, mutual funds remained stable, while the remaining subgroups decreased.

A total of 32,62,710 shares were traded in 142,476 transactions. Shares worth 14.16 billion 71 million rupees were traded in that transaction.

The transaction amount has also decreased compared to Monday. Shares worth 16.35 billion 57 million rupees were traded on Monday.
