The Nepal Tourism Board has promoted Thailand as a major tourism source market for Nepal by participating in the Thai International Travel Fair (TITF) 2026 held in Bangkok.

The fair, held from 22-25 January 2026, promoted adventure, cultural, spiritual and nature-based tourism products through the Nepal Pavilion with Nepal Airlines and 11 leading tourism companies. According to the board, daily direct flights between Nepal and Thailand and more than 20 weekly air services have significantly increased the interest of Thai tourists, facilitating tourism movement.

The fair has also made BTU networking effective, paving the way for new partnerships between Thai travel trade and Nepali entrepreneurs. According to NTB, Nepal's participation in TITF 2026 has strengthened Nepal's tourism image in the Thai market and laid a strong foundation for long-term tourism growth.
