The NEPSE index rose by 9.23 points on Thursday, the last day of weekly trading.

The NEPSE, which had been rising continuously for the previous four trading days, fell by about 9.5 points on Wednesday. However, on Thursday, the NEPSE rose by about 9.25 points. The NEPSE closed at 2,714.61 points, up 0.34 percent compared to Wednesday.

Of the companies that traded on Thursday, the share prices of 162 companies increased, the price of 88 companies decreased. And the remaining 10 companies remained stable.

A total of 94,174 shares were traded, with 19 million 75 thousand 756 shares being traded. Shares worth 9.739 billion rupees were traded in those transactions. The transaction amount increased compared to the previous day. Shares worth 8.923 billion rupees were traded on Wednesday.
