Today, the price of one tola of printed gold has been fixed at 277,800 rupees.

The price of the same amount of silver has been fixed at 5,625, The Nepal Gold and Silver Merchants' Federation has stated.

Last Thursday, gold was traded at 276,500 per tola and 277,200 on Friday. One tola of silver was traded at 5,485 on Thursday and 5,645 on Friday.

The Federation has stated that the price in the local market has also been affected due to the fluctuations in the price of gold and silver in the international market, the dollar exchange rate and geopolitical uncertainties.

According to international media, one ounce of gold is being traded at 4,596 and the same weight of silver is being traded at 90 US dollars in the international market today.
