Pratap Jung Pandey has been elected as the president of the Airline Operators Association (AON) at its 25th general meeting held on Friday. Pandey is the director of Kailash Helicopter Services Ltd.
In the general meeting held in Lazimpat, Altitude Air Director Nima Nuru Sherpa has been elected as the first vice-president, Yeti Airlines CEO Mr. Subhas Sapkota as the second vice-president, Tara Air CEO Umesh Paneru as the third vice-president.
Similarly, Simrik Air Managing Director Muralidhar Joshi has been elected as the general secretary, Air Dynasty Manager Balkrishna Pandit as the secretary, and Buddha Air Director Rupesh Joshi as the treasurer.
The members selected are Shrom Harsh Shrestha of Basecamp Helicopters, Dhanshyamraj Acharya of Sita Air, Umesh Acharya of Saurya Airlines, Binod Thapa of Fishtail Air, Prajwal Thapa of Guna Airlines, Milan Maharjan of Himalaya Airlines, Nobel Kumar Rajlawat of Prabhu Helicopters, and Phurba Tshiring Sherpa of Heli Everest.
