The office administration has stated that electricity production has begun after the technical problems seen in the power house and other facilities were resolved.
Electricity production at the 73-megawatt capacity Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Plant, which had been shut down since the last week of November, has resumed.
Karan Gautam, the office's administrative chief and environment officer, informed that electricity production has resumed after technical problems with the powerhouse and other equipment were resolved.
He said that the regular maintenance work that should be done every year was completed at the same time as some technical problems were detected in some equipment.
The electricity produced by this project, which started production about two years ago, is connected to the central transmission line through the Basantapur substation. This project has the highest capacity among the hydropower projects operating in the district.
