The bond, named 'Nepal Rastra Bank Bond 2083 'C', will be auctioned at 2 pm on Poush 20 (today) 2082.
The interest rate of the bond will be determined through the auction. The interest payment will be made in 6/6 months. The principal of the bond will be paid after one year on Poush 2083.
Investors can bid on the bond by dividing it by a minimum of 50 million and a maximum of 50 million rupees, leaving a remainder. This bond can be used as collateral to take out loans in banks and other banks and financial institutions.
Only banks and financial institutions (counterparties) of category 'A', 'B' and 'C' that have received permission from the National Bank can purchase the bonds.
