Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal has said that the profits earned by the private sector will not be consumed by them alone, but rather their benefits will be distributed to all levels and strata of society.

Speaking at the all-party national dialogue on 'Collaboration for Peace, Stability and Prosperity' organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Finance Minister Khanal said that the profits earned by the private sector should not be viewed negatively. 'The private sector itself has said in its dialogue with the government that we will rise from the ashes. Such dialogue will continue to take place only with the government. FNCCI has organized this dialogue to ensure that it should also be held with all political parties,' he said. 'The wealth created by the private sector also belongs to the state. Its benefits reach all classes and strata of society.' Despite this, the private sector has suffered losses in every movement. He said that the private sector should also hold adequate discussions with the general public to control this situation. He said that the private sector should also conduct industrial and business activities with restraint and responsibility.
