Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel has said that creating a conducive environment for industry, trade and business and ensuring the security of the private sector are the shared commitments of the government.

Speaking at a program for cooperation for peace, stability and prosperity organized in Kathmandu, Minister Kharel said that we should move forward with the slogan 'Environment for industry, trade and business, security of the private sector - the commitment of all of us'.

'Only this way can the country move forward,' he said, 'Security of the private sector is indispensable for advancing a socialist-oriented state system.'

Minister Kharel claimed that elections are the main one among the three main mandates of the current government and that it has been proven that elections will be held. According to him, the country is now in an election season.

He mentioned that major corruption cases reached the court during this period and claimed that the current government has created a suitable environment for that. Minister Kharel said in his address that the government has also prepared the baseline for good governance during this period.

Stating that everyone was hurt when private sector property was burned, Minister Kharel pledged to stand with the government for its restoration. 'There is no doubt that private sector property should be protected,' he said.
