Nepal Airlines Corporation (Nepal Airlines) Chairman Bikram Rai resigned from his post on Sunday.

Chairman Rai has submitted his resignation to the Ministry of Tourism, citing health problems and the completion of the responsibilities directed by Prime Minister Sushila Karki. Chairman Rai was given responsibility for one month by Prime Minister Karki on Kartik 12.

Even though the period ended at the end of November, he continued to work as the chairman as the engine-related issues related to the corporation had not been finalized.

Rai stated that an MoU was signed today with an Israeli company regarding the corporation's engine issues during his tenure.

Rai stated on Facebook that he resigned after completing the responsibilities directed by the Prime Minister and considering his health condition.
