The prices of gold and silver have been continuously increasing in the local market for the past few days. Today too, the prices of both metals have increased.

The price of gold on Sunday increased by Rs 1,300 compared to Friday. The price of gold, which was traded at Rs 269,300 on Friday, reached Rs 270,600 on Sunday. 

Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs 270 compared to Friday. The price of silver on Sunday remained at Rs 4,835. The prices of both metals are the highest ever. 

Analysts have said that the price of gold and silver has also increased with the rise in the value of the US dollar. International media reports that an ounce of gold is being bought and sold at $4,530 and the same amount of silver is being bought and sold at $78 in the international market today.
