The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by 19.92 points on the first trading day of the week. The overall NEPSE has fallen to 2,595.10 points after a 0.76 percent decline compared to last Thursday.

After a total of 19 trading days, NEPSE has again fallen to 2,500 points. Earlier on Mangsir 4, NEPSE had closed at 2,560.29 points. Since then, it has been hovering around 2,600 points.

A total of 43 companies increased in value, 207 companies decreased in value, and 7 companies remained stable. The fact that more companies decreased in value than increased in value contributed to the decline in the overall NEPSE.

A total of 12.99 million shares were traded in 70,576 transactions. Shares worth 4.52 billion 8.715 billion rupees were traded in that transaction.

All subgroups except mutual funds decreased. Mutual funds increased by 0.19 percent. Life insurance decreased by 201.73, hotel and tourism by 114.20, and non-life insurance by 87.06 points.
