Real estate transactions have increased significantly in the month of Mangsir of the current fiscal year. Real estate transactions had decreased after the land reform and land revenue offices were set on fire during the Genji protests in Bhadra and the land division was suspended in Shrawan. However, real estate transactions, land division and revenue have increased as expected in Mangsir.

The department has stated that 51,632 new properties were purchased and sold in Mangsir while 158,899 properties were traded. Land division has also increased in Mangsir. According to the department, 55,08 new land divisions were purchased in Mangsir while 121,618 land divisions were purchased.

Land division had been stopped since the beginning of Shrawan due to the municipalities not classifying the land. Land division was opened after the government amended the Land Use Regulations, 2082 for the third time on Kartik 24.
