In the month of Mangsir alone of the current fiscal year (2082/2083), a revenue of Rs 4.84 billion 81 million has been generated from real estate transactions. The Department of Land Management and Records has stated that the highest revenue was generated in Mangsir since Shrawan of the current fiscal year.

Earlier, in Shrawan, revenue of Rs 3.28 billion 91 million was collected from real estate transactions. The lowest revenue was Rs 2.74 billion in Kartik. In the five months of the current fiscal year, revenue of Rs 16.78 billion 17 million has been collected.

The highest revenue in the month of Mangsir was collected from the Land Reform and Land Revenue Office Lagankhel, Land Revenue Office Kalanki, Land Revenue Office Chawahil, Land Reform and Land Revenue Office Bhaktapur, Land Reform and Land Revenue Office Dillibazaar, Land Revenue Office Kaski, Land Revenue Office Chitwan, Land Reform and Land Revenue Office Inaruwa, Land Reform and Land Revenue Office Dhangadhi and Land Revenue Office Butwal, according to the department's data.

The Land Reforms and Land Revenue Office has been collecting revenue under various heads including service tax, registration fee, door facility fee, capital gains tax, and delay fee, the department has stated. Out of this, only the revenue collected from capital gains tax goes to the federal government, while the rest is distributed among the provinces and municipalities, the department has stated.
