The NEPSE index, which measures share trading, rose by 5.70 points on Wednesday. After increasing by 0.21 percent compared to Tuesday, the overall NEPSE has risen to 2,625.70 points. With this, the NEPSE has increased continuously for the last three days.
Of the companies that traded on Wednesday, 143 increased their share prices, 104 decreased their prices, and 11 remained unchanged. The overall NEPSE rose as fewer companies saw their share prices decline than increase on that day.
A total of 85,98,424 shares were traded on that day in 58,096 share transactions. A total of 4.5 billion 53.7 million rupees were traded in those transactions.
The trading amount also increased compared to the previous day. A total of 3.29 billion 42 million rupees were traded in the stock market on Tuesday.
