The government has collected Rs 49.78 billion in revenue in the five months of the current fiscal year (Shrawan-Mansir).

This is 27.45 percent of the annual target. The government has set a target of collecting Rs 1.48 trillion through revenue in the current fiscal year. The Finance Ministry has stated that the government's revenue collection in the five months has achieved 78.84 percent of the target till Mangsir. The government had set a target of collecting Rs 520 billion 440 million in revenue till Mangsir. The revenue collected during that period is also less than the target for Mangsir. The government had set a target of collecting Rs 95 billion 200 million in revenue in Mangsir alone, but it collected Rs 80 billion 270 million, the ministry has stated. Of the revenue collected in the last five months, only Rs 3 billion 440 million was collected on Mangsir 29. The government had set a target of collecting Rs 1.419 billion 300 million in revenue in the last fiscal year. Of which Rs 495 billion 200 million in revenue was collected till Mangsir. Out of that, Rs 45 billion 770 million was collected till Mangsir 29. Last year, Rs 76 billion 760 million in revenue was collected in Mangsir alone.
