Director General of the Roads Department, Vijay Jaisi, has urged construction companies to mobilize for work. He says that construction entrepreneurs cannot be loved too much on sick contracts anymore.
He said this at a dialogue program with stakeholders on ‘Sick Contract Management’ organized by the Nepal Infrastructure Journalists Society in collaboration with the Federation of Nepal Construction Entrepreneurs in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
‘The contract was not broken due to laziness. The contract was broken at the last moment. However, you have mobilized for work. Now it is seen that the construction companies have also mobilized for work,’ he said, ‘Law is law. Now it is not done out of love. Let us all get to work.’
He said that some companies are also receiving bonuses. ‘None of the contracts taken by some construction companies have become sick.’ He said that all the sick contracts of some have become sick,’ he said, ‘Now construction entrepreneurs should also be smart.’
