Four bankers have been elected as executive members of the Nepal Bankers Association, the umbrella organization of commercial banks.

The association's annual general meeting on Wednesday elected Nepal SBI Bank CEO Ram Kumar Tiwari, Nabil Bank CEO Manoj Gyawali, Laxmi Sunrise Bank CEO Ajay Bikram Shah, and Prime Bank CEO Sanjeev Manandhar as members to fill the vacant member positions. Among them, Manandhar has been re-elected. The remaining three are new entrants.

The terms of Sanima Bank CEO Nischal Raj Pandey, Prabhu Bank CEO Ashok Sherchan, and Siddhartha Bank CEO Sundar Prasad Kandel, who were previously members, had expired. Although Prime Bank CEO Sanjeev Manandhar's one term has expired, he has been re-elected for a second term.

Everest Bank CEO Sudesh Khaling and Nepal Bank CEO Tilak Raj Pandey, who were previously elected members, have their terms remaining. Therefore, new members have been elected to the four vacant members.
