Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that social justice is not possible without complete social security. Addressing a program organized at Singha Durbar on the occasion of the 8th Social Security Day, Prime Minister Karki stressed that effective implementation of contribution-based social security is indispensable to balance the intergenerational cost of social security and make it equitable in a country like Nepal.

She said that the implementation of the Contribution-Based Social Security Act, 2074 BS will create an environment for every citizen to work and live in the country and create a basis for increasing overall productivity as mentioned in today's slogan. Prime Minister Karki also urged the private sector not to take the social security of its workers and employees as a burden. She said that it is necessary to do homework seriously now on how to utilize the fund, which is growing day by day, in nation building.
