Golyan Group has allocated about Rs 15 million annually for educational scholarships. ‘The process of providing health insurance for families of martyrs who are not enrolled in academics is also moving forward,’ said Gaire, ‘Every martyr family should benefit from education or health insurance programs.’
According to the agreement, Golyan Group will bear the cost of education of children at the rate of 40 thousand per month, up to a maximum of 480 thousand rupees per year.
‘The said scholarship will include the student’s monthly academic fee, food and snack fee, hostel fee, transportation fee, extracurricular activities fee run by the school, annual admission fee, administrative fee, book and stationery expense, school uniform fee and all other fees mentioned in the school’s bill,’ the tripartite agreement states. ‘The scholarship amount will be paid directly to the school by Golyan Group as per the bill issued by the school from time to time.’
Golyan Group will also bear the cost of extracurricular activities of the students as per their interest within the limit of the scholarship amount. The agreement states that if the school does not provide extracurricular activities, the student can learn the activity from other institutions/organizations and the Golyan Group will pay the amount for it within the limits of the scholarship amount.
Akshay Golyan, Managing Director of Golyan Group, said that an important phase of implementing the commitment to take responsibility for the education of children of martyr families has begun. He said that the responsibility for the education of children dependent on them has been taken in appreciation of the contribution of the martyrs of the Gen-G movement.
‘We have taken the responsibility for the education of children emotionally from the heart and not to promote business or for any marketing,’ he said, ‘This agreement ensures that every child not only gets quality education but also has the opportunity to develop their talents and abilities outside the classroom.’
