Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Dr. Bishwanath Poudel has said that access to capital should be expanded, not access to capital.

Speaking at a financial literacy program organized by the National Bank in Diktel on Friday, Poudel said that investment should be based on entrepreneurship projects, not on those who have access. Poudel said that the backward communities and those who do not have access to information should be informed about the bank's schemes and increase their access to capital. For this, Poudel urged politicians to spread information to these communities and classes.

'Politicians who have access should not only inform themselves but also others about the schemes,' Poudel said, 'Those who are backward, there is nothing in the information, those who are also backward in terms of community, they should be informed that this scheme exists, and this will improve their economic situation.'

Poudel said that money can be earned not abroad, but at home. For this, Poudel also stated that since there are many types of schemes in the bank, one can choose the scheme according to their wishes and do business. Poudel also believes that it is better to work at home than to go abroad by taking a loan from a bank.

'Even if you go abroad to study/learn, you have to do the work at home. Our banks have schemes for that. You should do what you think is right,' he said.
