The Ministry of Finance has insured 20 four-wheeled vehicles.
The Cabinet meeting held on October 20 had decided to 'insure government vehicles completely for non-life insurance'. Based on that decision, 20 (twenty) four-wheeled vehicles owned by the Ministry of Finance have been fully insured through Nepal Insurance Company.
With this, if government vehicles are damaged due to fire, accident, etc. in the coming days, the vehicles can be purchased from the insurance claim amount, and the Ministry expects that this will reduce expenditure from government funds, facilitate resource management in priority areas, and make public finance management effective.
