The fluctuations in the prices of gold and silver in the international market have also affected the local market. The prices of both metals have increased today compared to Wednesday.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Merchants' Federation, the price of gold per tola has increased by Rs 7 percent today compared to Wednesday, while the same amount of silver has increased by Rs 35. Today, the price of one tola of gold has been fixed at Rs 243,000. Similarly, the price of silver has been fixed at Rs 3,185 per tola.
According to international media, one ounce of gold is being traded at US$4,750 in the international market today.
