Based on the same decision, the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEB) has already written a letter to the ministry last Friday. ‘The letter mainly mentions three issues. First, the Ministry of Finance should review the previous decision regarding the reduction of benefits. Second, the provisions of the Security and Welfare Fund, which were repealed by the Ministry of Finance, should be included in the Employee Service Regulations. Third, the necessary amendments will be made to the existing law to make the SEB autonomous,’ the source said.
