Department Director Keshav Khatiwada said that the problem was due to lack of power supply and that the service would start from Saturday morning as a new power supply was installed on Friday evening.
The Electronic Driving License (EDL) service, which has been suspended, is set to resume operations from Saturday morning. The service, which has been partially operational since November 16, remained suspended throughout the day after a problem arose at the Department of Transport Management's data center on Friday.
