Nepal Airlines Corporation has invited applications for the post of General Manager through an open competitive process on Thursday.

According to the notification of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, eligible Nepali citizens can apply within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice.

According to the notification, the candidate must be a Nepali citizen and must be between 30 and 65 years of age. Also, he must have a master's degree with at least 10 years of high-level managerial experience in the fields of civil aviation, tourism, management, and economics.

The post of General Manager of the Corporation was vacant after the then General Manager of the Corporation, Dim Prasad Poudel, was dismissed by the then Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's government in Jestha 2079. At that time, the Tourism Minister of the government, Prem Ale, had appointed Yubaraj Adhikari as the Executive Chairman from the CPN Samajwadi quota to run the daily operations of the Corporation.
