4 flights per week at Resunga Airport

Resunga Airport has resumed four flights a week from today. Suman Thapa, Chief of Resunga Station of Nepal Airlines Corporation, informed that regular four flights a week have resumed from today.

After the breakdown of the Nepal Airlines Corporation's Twin Otter aircraft, flights had been operating in the district only once a week on Thursdays for the past five months. Now, after the maintenance of the damaged Twin Otter aircraft, the flight schedule has been resumed four times a week, Chief Thapa said.

Nepal Airlines Corporation will now operate four flights a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Resunga Airport.

Nepal Airlines Corporation's 19-seat Twin Otter aircraft has been operating flights from Kathmandu at 6:30 am and from Resunga at 7:30 am. The corporation has fixed the fare from Kathmandu to Gulmi at 7,500 and from Gulmi to Kathmandu at 7,300.

The corporation has stated that due to excessive air pressure at Resunga Airport during the afternoon, flights have to be operated only in the morning from a technical point of view.
