Is it an 'apology' or marketing? What are the 'official apology statements' of companies seen on social media?

In the last few days, a new trend has been going on on social media, in which companies are apologizing by issuing 'official apology statements' even though they have not made a mistake.

The statements, which appear to be official and include the company's letterhead, are not an admission of error, but rather a praise and marketing of their own services. Companies like 'Buddha Air' and 'Pathao' are also participating in this trend. Buddha Air issued an apology last Sunday, saying it had provided excellent service to its customers. Buddha Air said in a post at 12:07 PM, ', Dear passengers, we have been guilty of making air travel in Nepal very convenient through Buddha Air for the past 28 years. Before Buddha Air, the ride-sharing app '' Pathao ' had issued an apology last Saturday. The statement, which includes the letterhead, praised Pathao's work.

At 3:16 pm on Saturday, Pathao's official social media account said in the first line of the statement, ' We would like to apologize for being the best and safest ride sharing platform here. ' This statement does not admit a mistake, but rather seems to be promoting its own service quality in a roundabout way. Along with this, many other IT companies, corporate houses, consultancies and resorts have also made similar statements.

This style of promotion on social media has caught the attention of many. Some have liked it, calling it creative marketing, while others have criticized it as dramatic promotion. This trend has spread rapidly in India as well as Nepal. Big brands there ' T Series ', ' Haldiram ', ' Skoda ', ' Volkswagen ', '

Adani Ambuja Cement ' and others have also issued similar statements and apologies from their official pages. Similarly, international companies like ' Volkswagen ' have also followed this trend.
