62.2 million rupees have been paid in contractor and engineering insurance, 4.7 million rupees in transit insurance and 2.3 million rupees in other insurance. Insurance companies have stated that only a small number of claims have been insured due to the fact that the assessment work and procedural work have not been completed, especially in large losses.
