ACN's new executive committee takes office

CA Anup Nepal was elected as the president in the election held on Saturday. Along with him, Anil Lamichhane was elected as the vice-president, Pradeep Aryal as the general secretary, Sabin Karki as the treasurer, and Anjali Sawad, Rijita Shrestha, Guru Prasad Pokhrel, Mithlesh Prasad Chaudhary and Sajna Mainali were elected as members.

ACN's new executive committee takes office

The newly elected working committee of the Association of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ACAN) has been handed over its posts. On Monday evening, along with the 41st general meeting of the association, President CA Arun Raut inaugurated the elected 36th working committee.

CA Anup Nepal was elected as the president in the election held on Saturday. Along with him, Anil Lamichhane was elected as the vice-president, Pradeep Aryal as the general secretary, Sabin Karki as the treasurer, and Anjali Saud, Rijita Shrestha, Guru Prasad Pokharel, Mithlesh Prasad Chaudhary and Sajna Mainali were elected as members.

Election Officer CA Gopal Kumar Shrestha administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected office bearers. On the occasion, the provincial and district committees of ICAN were also administered the oath of office and secrecy and handed over their positions.

ICAN has provincial committees in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Lumbini, Sudurpaschim and Upatyaka. Similarly, district working committees are active in Morang, Jhapa, Sunsari, Parsa, Dhanusha, Chitwan, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kaski, Rupandehi, Makawanpur, Dang, Banke and Kailali.

Taking charge, the newly elected President Nepal said that the construction of the association's own building will be the first priority. He expressed his commitment to his team to be active in enhancing the capacity and professional strengthening of the members affiliated with the association.
