After Himal Steel Pvt. Ltd. paid the first installment of the outstanding amount, the Nepal Electricity Authority reconnected the line to the industrial premises at around 5:15 pm on Sunday evening.
Industry manager Vasudev Shrestha said that the NEA has connected the line on the condition that the first installment is paid immediately and the remaining installments will be adjusted later.
Manager Shrestha said that even if electricity is connected, the industry will not be operational immediately. He said that it will take a few more days for the industry to resume operations as some internal preparations are yet to be made.
About 400 workers are working in the industry. Electricity is not connected in 10 industries that have not paid the first installment.
