Reliance Spinning Mills in Sunsari, which consumed electricity through dedicated and trunk lines during load shedding in the past, has paid the first installment of premium tariff arrears.

According to NEA Executive Director Manoj Silwal, the disconnected power line has been reconnected after the first installment was paid.

Reliance has paid the first installment of premium charges for dedicated and trunk line usage from Magh 2072 to Baisakh 2075.

The total outstanding amount of the company is Rs 753.7 million.

The outstanding amount has been divided into 28 installments and accordingly, Reliance has paid Rs 27.7 million as the first installment, according to NEA.
