The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Nepal Cottage and Small Industries Federation, Hotel Association Nepal, Federation of Nepal Builders, Independent Energy Producers Association Nepal, and others, in coordination with the National Business Initiative (NBI), have issued a joint declaration to express 'solidarity for peace and prosperity'.

The private sector, which has contributed trillions of rupees through taxes and created about 5 million jobs, has expressed its commitment to continue its contribution to the welfare of the nation even in difficult times. NBI President Kush Kumar Joshi said that peace and prosperity complement each other and that the private sector is not only a tool for the economy but also the basis of national unity and hope in the difficult times of the country.

1. Support the interim government to ensure free and fair elections by forming a task force with the heads of leading private sector organizations in coordination with the NBI and engaging directly with the government, security agencies, the youth generation, and stakeholders.
2. Prioritize business continuity and ensure legal implementation for investment and business security, collaborate in ending corruption and promoting good governance, and urge government services to be business-friendly.
3. Conduct information and public awareness campaigns to correct existing misconceptions about the private sector, and strengthen the culture of transparency and accountability in line with the sentiments of the youth.
4. Learn from past events and continue transparent, ethical, and responsible business practices, and strengthen the campaign to build a prosperous Nepal through capital growth and good governance.
