Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, has urged the government to immediately resolve the problem of power cuts in industries.

Speaking at a public-private dialogue program organized at the Ministry of Finance on Friday, Chairman Dhakal said that dozens of industries across the country have been shut down due to the cutting of power lines, which has put thousands of jobs in danger, and urged to find a solution to the problem through dialogue and dialogue.

He said that the nation itself has suffered huge economic losses due to the cutting of lines, which has had a negative impact on industrial production, exports and the country's overall economic activities. He also urged the government to create an environment of dialogue and cooperation to resolve the dispute.

Chairman Dhakal said that keeping the morale of industrialists and businessmen high is the need of the day for the revival of the economy. He said that the attacks on private industrial establishments due to infiltration during the Gen-G movement have shown a lack of industrial security, created fear among investors and weakened investor confidence.

Chairman Dhakal expressed concern that if the morale of industrialists and businessmen cannot be kept high, instead of investment coming into the country, even the capital that has been there may flee. 'For internal and external investment, an environment where industrialists and businessmen feel safe is necessary,' he said. 'It is sad that the private sector, which creates jobs in the country and pays taxes to the state, is attacked during every movement. A change in attitude towards the private sector is necessary. And for this, the government should take appropriate initiatives.'

Although the decisions taken by the government on issues such as industrial security and reconstruction of damaged industries are commendable, Chairman Dhakal stressed that the trend of policy implementation being delayed needs to be improved.

He said that the federation welcomed the government's decision to hold a meeting with the participation of the district-based Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including businessmen, in the presence of officials of the District Security Committee to create a conducive business environment.
