According to data released by the Customs Department on Sunday, the foreign trade deficit in the current fiscal year was 26.04 percent higher than in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The foreign trade deficit has reached Rs 540 billion in the first three months of the current fiscal year. The foreign trade deficit in the first three months of the last fiscal year was Rs 429 billion.
According to data released by the Customs Department on Sunday, the foreign trade deficit in the current fiscal year increased by 26.04 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. The department has stated that goods worth Rs 468.8 billion were imported in Shrawan, Bhadra and Asoj. Goods worth Rs 390 billion were imported during the same period last fiscal year.
