The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, increased by 44.25 points on Monday. After increasing by 1.76 percent on Monday compared to the previous day, the overall NEPSE closed at 2,547.60 points. On Sunday, NEPSE decreased by 78.83 points.

Out of the 200 companies that traded on that day, the share prices of 44 companies went down. In this way, the overall NEPSE increased by a higher number as the number of companies that fell rather than increased.

On Monday, 99 lakh 4 thousand 874 shares were bought and sold in 48 thousand 836 transactions. Shares worth 4 billion 97 crore 54 lakh rupees have been traded in those purchases. Compared to the previous day, the transaction amount has decreased. Shares worth 6.7 billion rupees were traded on Sunday.

Out of the 13 sub-groups traded on that day, the index of all the sub-groups increased, resulting in an increase of 44 points in the overall NEPSE.
