The government has asked the people who have received the land ownership certificate from the then land problem resolution commission to update it by submitting it to the relevant land reform and land delivery office within 60 days.

The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation issued a press release on Friday and requested this.

The Ministry has also instructed to transfer the then Commission's Data Collection Information System (NALCIS) to the Surveyors Department for management.

The cabinet meeting of the interim government held on October 23 has decided to abolish the Land Problem Solution Commission Formation Order, 2081 and the Land Problem Solution Commission and District Committees formed in accordance with that order.
