Along with the increase in the price of gold in the international market, its impact has also been felt in the local market. Compared to Wednesday, one tola of gold has become more expensive by 1,200 rupees.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation, the value of one tola of gold, which was traded at 238,000 rupees on Wednesday, has increased by 1,200 rupees to 2,39,200 rupees today. 

The price of silver has also increased. On Wednesday, one tola of silver was bought and sold at 2,955 rupees, but today the same amount of silver is being bought and sold at 3,250 rupees.

In the international market today, one ounce of gold is being traded at 4,550 US dollars, according to the international media.
