New records have been set in the gold market that opened after Dasain. Before the Dasain holiday, on October 12, the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation fixed the price of gold at 223,200 rupees per tola.

Then there was the Dasain holiday. The Union did not fix the price of gold until October 18. When the jewelry market opens on October 19, right after Dasain, the prices have skyrocketed. The price of gold rose by Rs 7,400 to Rs 2,30,600 per tola on the same day.

On the second day i.e. October 20, the price of gold continued to rise. The federation has increased the price by 2500 rupees per tola on Monday compared to Sunday. 

The price of gold has set a record on Tuesday as well. On Tuesday, the price of gold reached 235,400 rupees. Compared to Monday, the price of gold increased by 2,300 on Tuesday. This price is also a record so far.
