A hotel and shopping center has been put into operation in the 11-storey building of Chitwan Business Complex (CBC) in Bharatpur. CBC operates a chain of hotels in the US, India and Nepal and has launched a 58-room hotel in collaboration with Lod's Hospitality. In the same building, Chitwan Business Mart has come into operation as the 38th branch of Salesberry.
Spread over one lakh seven thousand square feet, CBC has an 11-storey building with two underground floors. Two floors of the underground will be used for parking. Likewise, there will be a Salesberry Mart on three floors. The top 6 floors will be a hotel. CBC President Dinup Baral said that there is one presidential, three suites, 10 super deluxe, 15 premium and the rest standard rooms in the hotel. He said that the room rate ranges from 5,500 to 24,000 rupees. Foreign tourists are also our customers due to cooperation with international brands. Locals and natives will also be our priority," said Baral. The
hotel has a meeting hall with a capacity of 500 people, a conference hall with a capacity of 100 people and three meeting rooms with a capacity of 30 people. There is an outdoor-indoor restaurant that can serve 125 people at a time. There is also a swimming pool on the top floor. From the CBC in front of Bharatpur Airport, you can see the city and the green hills to the north and the mountains when the sky clears.
Baral said that grocery, housewares, electronics, cosmetics, liquor and other household items will be available in Salesberry. He said that clothes and furniture will also be available in the near future. The two-story parking area accommodates 80 small four-wheeled vehicles and 200 motorcycles. The hotel has a 25 percent discount until 2025. Likewise, up to 15 percent discount will be available during Dasain-Tihar while shopping at Salesberry," said President Baral.
Dinup said that 1 billion 600 million rupees have been invested in the building and hotel of CBC and another 25 million rupees in Salesberry. 100 people will be employed in CBC immediately and 150 people will be employed when it is fully operational. 18 people from Chitwan have collected investment in collaboration with Lakshmi Sunrise Bank.
Chitwan is the center of the country and is also one of the main tourist areas of Nepal. A classy hotel is a necessity here. Similarly, the shopping culture is also becoming modern due to the rapid urbanization of these places. Seeing this possibility, we have brought a hotel with good infrastructure and a shopping mall into operation from the same place," said President Baral.
During the Corona period, the foundation stone of the building was laid by buying the land. Even after coming into operation, recent developments have raised doubts in the business sector. The situation is not always favorable. You have to dare to do something new in any situation. We have come with that courage," said President Baral.
