Contracts under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development are going to be terminated.

Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Transport and Urban Development Minister Kulman Ghising has directed the secretaries and heads of departments of all the three ministries to immediately prepare and submit the list of dilapidated projects.

Taking information about the working of all the three ministries, Minister Ghising said that the project should not be allowed to stand still by looking at the faces of non-working construction professionals.

"On the one hand, the country is suffering huge economic losses due to the failure of ongoing large infrastructure projects to be completed within the specified time and quality, on the other hand, there is an ironic situation where citizens are being deprived of the benefits of such projects," he said, "Now, we should not look at anyone's face, identify and evaluate such projects and submit a list immediately." He said that he should go through the process. He says that the project cannot be kept in abeyance.

According to Ministry sources, more than 300 roads and more than 100 bridge construction projects under irrigation, Sunkosi Marin multi-purpose of national pride, and more than 100 bridges under physical infrastructure are stalled.
