Mandatory quality mark has been applied to 17 items including cement, paint, gas regulator, cylinder, pipe, bottling plant and other items used in construction. The official says that even if the mandatory quality mark is implemented for the safety of the general public, now the monitoring of the market regulation will be zero.

'Now there is no structure, everything is destroyed . Who will give the NS mark and how? It was not just by regulation, it is said that it is not correct based on the laboratory test,' said another employee of the department. How to control distortion based on what? There was confusion.'

Last Sunday, Secretaries of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Ram Prasad Ghimire and Krishna Bahadur Raut, also inspected the weighing department. "There was an initiative in the past to move to another place, in the current situation, there is no other option," another official of the department said, "Now the reconstruction work will also start." Who will regulate the quality of rods, cement, paint etc ? There is no alternative to prepare immediate restructuring.'
